The A.TR Movement Certificate certifies that industrial goods are in free circulation in Turkey or the EU under the Customs Union, granting 0% customs import duty upon entry into European Union member states. It is issued electronically by the exporter and certified by customs.
What is the difference between A.TR and EUR.1?
A.TR applies exclusively to industrial goods traded between Turkey and the EU under the Customs Union based on free circulation status. EUR.1 is an origin certificate used for trade under Free Trade Agreements (such as with the UK, EFTA, or Mediterranean partners) certifying that the goods originate in Turkey.
